Opened in 2004, KIPP Houston High School is KIPP's first college preparatory high school.  In keeping with the mission of KIPP, KHHS is committed to helping our students develop and strengthen academic and intellectual skills, knowledge, and character necessary for success in college and life. Students are required to master the core academic disciplines, as well as critical thinking, self-discipline, organization, self-advocacy, and leadership.

We are currently at just under 450 students and have 40 faculity and staff working on campus for the 2008-09 school year.  We have a brand new school building which opened up for the fall of 2006.  We have a full range of AP, Honors and Pre-AP courses to meet your academic needs, while at the same time offering a full range of clubs and sports.
