KIPP SHARP Prep opened its doors in 2008. At KIPP SHARP, we honor the multidimensional and unique characteristics of our children by creating a school where children can discover what the world has to offer and understand their place in it. KIPP SHARP is a place where our children are invited, motivated, and supported to fall in love with learning and life. The faculty is an essential part of creating and living this vision where excellence is expected and worked on every day.
KIPP SHARP has 897 students from PreK3 through 4th grade and serves the Southwest communities of Houston.
KIPP SHARP promotes the fine arts in their curriculum. Students are offered choir, art, string, and technology.
Our faculty is composed of 75 passionate educators who have an average of three to five years of teaching experience.
Our student body is 80% Hispanic, 15% African-American, 1% Caucasian, and 4% Other.
